Ikea, the world's biggest home furnishings retailer, has partnered with Dazhong, a Chinese home appliance retailer, to provide more services to consumers.
After 63 years of business, Ikea has never before had a partner operate within its stores. Dazhong will first operate within the new Ikea store in Siyuanqiao, Beijing.
Dazhong formally announces that its new store in Ikea will be opened next month, where it will occupy 10000 sqm. According to their agreement, Dazhong will continue being a partner of Ikea at all Ikea stores in Beijing in the future.
Jia Yaoyong, general manager of Dazhong Beijing, says that the main reason they cooperate with Ikea is that they share similar operational ideas of serving the customers.
