Fast food giant McDonald's plans to open two drive-thru restaurants in Zhejiang Province by the end of August this year.
One of the new restaurants will be located in Zhoushan and the other in Hangzhou.
McDonald's will cooperate with Sinopec Group to expand its drive-thru business in China. Sinopec Group has 30000 gas filling stations in China and will add 500 new ones every year, which is a great help for McDonald's to speed up the expansion of its drive-thru restaurants.
McDonald's now has 770 restaurants in China. It plans to increase to 1000 by 2008.
