Best Buy Recruits Employees For First Chinese Store

American home electronics retailer Best Buy is now busy recruiting employees for its first store in China, which is going to be open at the end of this year.

Wang Ying, spokesman for Best Buy, says that Best Buy is now recruiting retailing talents including sales managers, salespeople, and customer service staff. Located in Shanghai's Xujiahui area, the first Best Buy store in China covers an area of more than 8000 sqm.

Best Buy purchased Jiangsu-based Five Star Electronics for $180 million dollars in May and is now using that purchase as a platform to compete with entrenched Chinese rivals like Dazhong and Suning.
