RT Mart To Set Up Distribution Center In Jinan

Taiwan-based RT Mart has decided to set up its Northern China Material Distribution Center in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province.

This project will involve a total investment of US$40 million, and will be started at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.

This new center in Jinan will cover an area of 137,000 square meters with a total construction area of 100,000 square meters. It will not only undertake the distribution operations in northern China, but also realize the exchange of goods among several distribution centers for RT Mart.

RT Mart has alfready opened 61 supermarkets in mainland China. 33 lie in eastern China while the other 11 are in north China. RT Mart plans to open 50 to 100 new supermarkets in the coming few years.

RT Mart built its Eastern China Material Distribution Center in Suzhou last year.
