KFC Opens Drive Thru In B&Q

B&Q, one of the world's largest home furnishing retailer, has reached an agreement with Kentucky Fried Chicken in Beijing to bring KFC's Drive Thru restaurants into all the B&Q stores around China.

With this agreement signed, customers who go shopping at B&Q will soon be able to enjoy a real one-stop service offered by KFC.

The two parties have also signed a letter of intent about the first batch of KFC Drive Thrus to be set up in B&Q. The first range of KFC Drive Thrus will be opened in the B&Q supermarkets in Shanghai, Qingdao and Wuxi and the construction will begin in the near future.

A representative from KFC Chengdu says that the date for the opening of KFC Drive Thru in B&Q Chengdu hasn't been fixed, but it is sure that B&Q Chengdu will be involved in this cooperation.

KFC opened its first Drive Thru in Beijing in 2002 and the second one in 2005 in Shanghai. It plans to open 100 Drive Thru restaurants in total in the coming three years.
