7 Days Inn To Soon Open Six Hotels In Beijing

Budget hotel chain 7 Days Inn says it is planning to open six new hotels successively in March in Beijing.

At present, 7 Days Inn has mainly developed its business in the southern part of China and has 24 opened hotels already.

Zheng Nanyan, CEO of 7 Days Inn, says that the group will expand its operations to the business circles around Bohai Sea and the Yangtze River Delta area after it landed a multi-million dollar investment deal last year from Warburg Pincus. Zheng says that 7 Days Inn will open hotels in six areas of Beijing including Jinsong, Gulou, Zhongguancun, and Guang'anmen in March.

Zheng says that the group plans to open 100 new stores in China by the end of this year.

7 Days Inn should not be confused with the international chain Days Inn, which is also operating in China. Days Inn is owned by Wyndham Worldwide, which also owns brands like Ramada, Howard Johnson, Knights Inn, Travelodge, and Super 8.
