Carrefour, the world's second largest retailer, has reached an agreement with New World Living Mall in Changchun, Jilin Province and has planned to open its first store in Jilin within this year.
Located in the underground area of the New World Living Mall, the new Carrefour store will cover an area of 13000 sqm, providing more than 30000 kinds of goods and 700 free parking lots. It is estimated that the Carrefour New World Store in Changchun will receive over 10000 customers each day.
Gu Feiya, vice president of Carrefour China, says that the New World Living Mall is a powerful partner because it is a great shopping plaza in Changchun that has combined entertainment with shopping.
