Galleria.com.cn has launched to compete in China's luxury shopping sector.
Chinese customers can access the website and purchase goods made by international brands such as Dior, Fendi, Celine, Loewe, Givenchy, Guerlain, DKNY, Dom Perignon, Emporio Armani, Prada, Burberry, Swarovski, and Dunhill and distributed by Galleria.com.cn. In total 30 luxury brands, and more than 1000 individual items, will be available online in China through this site.
DFS, one of the world's largest travel retailers, says it developed Galleria.com.cn in partnership with Shanghai Difusi Information Technology and Development Company.
"A mainstay of DFS' strategy for growing our business is a commitment to innovation and pioneering new markets. We have done that most recently by opening a large Galleria in Okinawa and we are planning a luxury Galleria for Macau. Galleria.com.cn extends our reach into every home in China with Internet access, providing a new shopping channel for an important and large emerging luxury market," said Ed Brennan, Chairman and CEO of DFS.
Customers can get information from trained service representatives either through the website's chat room or by calling a toll free number in China. Customer orders are fulfilled at a warehouse in Shanghai and deliveries can be made throughout China. Products are guaranteed to be authentic and DFS says customers can be assured of excellent before and after sales service, a good returns policy and multiple payment options.
DFS, with more than 150 airport and downtown Galleria stores in 14 countries, is based in Hong Kong and owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, one of the world's leading luxury product groups, and companies associated with one of DFS' founders, Robert Miller.
