The "Beijing Circulation Industry Development Category Guide Catalog 2007", the so-called white book of Beijing's circulation industry which has been jointly released by Beijing Municipal Commerce Department, Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Beijing Municipal Planning Commission and Beijing Municipal Department of Industry and Commerce, covers new limitations for businesses.
The book reports that home furnishing malls and building material supermarkets inside the city's 5th Ring Road, including those newly built and those to be expanded, will receive different degree of limits. The reason they will restrict the development of building materials market within the Fifth Ring road is to lessen the traffic pressures in the city.
Companies like Ikea and many domestic firms are quickly filling the demand for furnishings in the capital city.
