Watsons Speed Up Expansion In West China Market

Watsons will further increase its expansion in Chengdu with the opening of three new stores in the city.

The three new Watsons stores in Chengdu are located at the New World Square, SM Square and Mianyang Jiaxinmao, respectively. Luo Jingren, director and general manager of Watsons China, says that Watsons will accelerate the expansion in the western China market centered around Chengdu.

Having more than 1500 chain stores and 1165 drug stores across the world, Watsons is one of the largest health care and beauty chain stores in Asia. Watsons entered Chengdu in 2003 and so far it has opened nine stores in Chengdu and its surrounding areas.
