Dairy Companies Cooperate To Cancel Dumping

Dairy companies Sanyuan, Sanlu, Bright, Yili and Mengniu have jointly announced plans to implement "The Dairy Enterprise Self-Discipline Nanjing Manifesto" to promote fair competition and credible operation among dairy enterprises.

These five companies have initiated the plan first in the Beijing market. The plan includes banning low-price dumping and cancelling selling of the products by offering special prices. They also say the price of products whose shelf date is going to expire must not be sold at a price lower than the cost price. This plan is applicable to all UHT milk, pasteurized milk, yogurt, milk powder and milky beverages.

On June 21, 14 dairy companies signed "The Dairy Enterprise Self-Discipline Nanjing Manifesto" at the annual meeting of China Dairy Association in order to regulate market order, carry out fair competition and fulfill social responsibility.
