According to local media, Wumart will formally cooperate with Japan-based Okamura to build a distribution center in northern China.
This distribution center will complement Wumart's other three distribution centers scattering across China.
The center is expected to deliver 80,000,000 boxes of goods worth about RMB4 billion each year. The center will be one of the biggest distribution centers in China.
Wu Jianzhong, president of Wumart, says,"Currently, the distribution system can't meet the development needs. Building the distribution center is going to solve the problem. The first term of this project can meet our enterprise's need by 2015."
