Six pharmacies from Beijing say that they will now exchange expired medicines for consumers with new ones.
The six outlets are Golden Elephant White Pagoda Store, Cachet Yuquanlu Drug Store, Haishengtang Huairong Store, Changping Quancao Drug Store, Shuiyi Yangzhen Drug Store and Beijing Develch No. 3 Store on Xinjiekou Wai Avenue.
These pharmacies will exchange all expired medicines except those used for injections. In particular, expired medicines produced by Baiyunshan Hehuang Company can be exchanged "one for one", similar medicines made by other companies can be changed with "two for one". All prescription drugs will be changed if the consumer produces a doctor's prescription.
