Aeon (Shenzhen), the owner of Jusco, plans to develop its business in a new field. It will reportedly enter the shopping mall sector and open its first mall in Huizhou.
According to Nanfang Daily, a representative of Aeon (Shenzhen) has confirmed this news. At present, there are five Juscos in Shenzhen and all of them are located in big shopping malls. Shenzhen Aeon says that Aeon (China) has many kinds of business modes, but Aeon (Shenzhen) does not have its own shopping mall.
The shopping mall, which is scheduled to open before the end of 2008, will be constructed and managed in accordance with the latest format standards of Japanese shopping malls. With a shopping area of over 130,000 square meters and with Jusco as its main shop, the shopping mall will attract more lessees from other sectors.
