Shandong-based Inzone has opened a new store at Jining Culture Square, which is the retail chain's second outlet in the city.
With a business area of about 30,000 square meters, the new store takes a mixed business model that integrates a department store and a large-scale supermarket, providing more than 80,000 Chinese and foreign products. All these products will be purchased and distributed via Inzone's headquarters to control quality and price.
Leveraging its brand, Inzone has been vigorously implementing its expansion strategy in recent years by developing a chain operation. The company continues to expand its retail network opening 10 new stores in 2006 and 2007, and 16 new stores this year.
So far, Inzone has opened outlets in 14 cities in Shandong in addition to Xingtai, Hebei. The company plans to complete its deployment in anther 17 cities in Shandong in 2009. In addition, it will actively explore markets outside Shandong and the company is currently selecting sites for its projects in such cities as Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Tianjin, and Puyang.
