BOB's Hangzhou Branch Opens To Help SMEs

Bank of Beijing has opened its fifth branch out of Beijing in Hangzhou to offer help to small and medium size enterprises during the global financial crisis.

As a leading city commercial bank in China, BOB has grown faster over the years. It has already opened branches in Tianjin, Shanghai, Xi'an and Shenzhen.

Located at Hanghzou's Qingchun East Road, which is the emerging financial center of Hangzhou, BOB Hangzhou Branch will provide its support to private enterprises and SMEs in Zhejiang Province which have been trapped in difficulty by the current financial crisis.

By September 2008, BOB's total asset, deposit balance and loan balance reached CNY403 billion, CNY302.7 billion and CNY179.3 billion, respectively, and its net profit increased by 80.19% over the same period of the previous year.
