Chinese Retailer Ren Ren Le Opens New Store In Xiamen

Chinese retailer Ren Ren Le has opened its first store in Xiamen, Fujian and this store is expected to start trial operations at the end of March 2009.

Wu Xingyin, the general manager of Ren Ren Le Fujian, told local media that the company has signed a contract with the Xiamen government to open three stores in Huli, Jimei, and Xiang'an districts. The company plans to increase the number of its stores in Xiamen to between five and seven in 2010 and each of these stores will have a business area of over 10,000 square meters.

In addition, Wu revealed that Ren Ren Le's goal is to become a leading retailer in Xiamen within three to five years.

Founded in April 1996, Shenzhen-based Ren Ren Le is a retail group that manages supermarkets and department stores in China. So far, the company has opened 126 large-scale outlets in South China, North China, and the northwestern and southwestern areas of the country, providing jobs for over 30,000 people.
