Master Kong To Launch IPO In Taiwan

Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corporation, a subsidiary of the Taiwan Ting Hsin International Group, and the owner of the Master Kong brand, has published a report and stating that the company plans to be listed in Taiwan.

The company stated its applications for the issue of a Taiwan Depositary Receipt and for its listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange have been submitted to the relevant authorities for approval.

According to reports in Taiwanese local media, the issue price for the company's new shares will be up to NTD80 per share and the company is looking to raise capital of over NTD10 billion.

Taiwan-owned enterprise Master Kong has become one of the most famous instant noodle brands in the mainland China market. It was listed on Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited in February 1996.
