Rural Tourism Gains Local Government Boost

In line with China's policy of developing rural tourism, it is learned that the Tianjin Municipal People's Government will set up a special fund to support the development of tourism villages.

According to related document from the TMPG, the fund will be used for programs like tourism support facilities, service facilities, sanitary facilities, uniform washing facilities, and tourism signs.

Farmers who are engaged in farmhouse tourist services making use of resources such as courtyards, lakes, ponds, orchards, and woodlands in villages with local folk culture characteristics, can use their residential address to register their business.

Farmhouses can be registered in various ways including as a company, a partnership enterprise, a sole proprietorship, an individual household business, or farm cooperative. Farmhouses registered as individual household businesses or branches of enterprises will be exempt from paying administrative charges such as registration fees and annual inspection fees.
