Byford To Open 60 New Stores In Greater China

British men's apparel brand Byford has opened a new store in Beijing and the company plans to add over 60 new stores to its retail network in Greater China in 2010.

Julian M K Ho, general manager of D Byford Holdings Limited and Asia Merchandising (HK) Limited, revealed that Byford's new store has been opened in the Intime Lotte department store in Beijing's Wangfujing.

Ho told local media that Byford plans to open over 60 new stores in Greater China in 2010 to increase the number of its stores in this marketplace to over 270. So far, over ten of these new stores have been launched in the first half of 2010.

Ho also added that the company will open another two or three new stores in Beijing this year. At present, Byford has more than 20 franchised distributors in Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. For the Greater China region, Byford has set up over 230 sales sites in department stores and high-end independent retail networks in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
