China's Wangfujing To Launch New Sub-brand

Chinese department store retailer Wangfujing has announced in Beijing that it will launch a new sub-brand called Fashion Headquarters and its first store under this brand will be opened on September 16, 2010.

Located in Beijing's Zhongkun Plaza, the new Fashion Headquarters store will have an operating area of 45,000 square meters. So far, Zhongkun Plaza has accommodated stores for various functions, including Carrefour, a movie theater, a billiard club, and a video game city.

According to Liu Bing, president for Wangfujing Department Store, the new Fashion Headquarters will focus on fashion consumers between the age of 18 and 35.

Headquartered in Beijing, Wangfujing Department Store has opened 22 outlets in 15 Chinese cities, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, Kunming, Changsha, Xining, and Lanzhou. Its annual operating revenue has reached CNY15 billion.
