H&M Opens First Store In Baoding

H&M has opened its first store in the city of Baoding in Hebei province.

Located in Xinshi district, the new H&M store has an area of over 1,500 square meters, providing various products such as clothing, accessories, underwear, sportswear, and jeans for men, women, and teenagers. Consumers in Baoding will be able to enjoy the attractive prices, the latest fashion, and quality offered by H&M.

Magnus Olsson, general manager for H&M Greater China, Singapore and Malaysia, recently said that H&M has achieved rapid development since its entry into China in 2007. Olsson commented that the opening of this new store shows the smooth development of H&M in China.

By September 28, 2013, the company had opened over 158 stores in mainland China and Hong Kong, including 18 outlets in Shanghai, 14 in Beijing, and 12 in Hong Kong. The rapid development proves the success of the operating concept of H&M. It is also a sign of the company's bright prospects in China.
