CES#174; 2019 officially opened yesterday, but the world’s largest innovation event was kicked off with preshow media events called Media Days on January 6 and 7. During the CES 2019 Media Days, several of China’s top tech companies made major announcements, including:

#61548; BYTON presented the world premiere of its M-Byte electric vehicle’s user interface, centered around a dashboard consisting of a 48-inch high resolution display and an industry-first display on the vehicle’s steering wheel. In addition, the company also announced a partnership with Amazon, adding Alexa voice control to the vehicle in addition to gesture and touch.
#61548; Hisense debuted the 100-inch TriChroma Laser TV, a next-generation television with upgraded colors, contrast, brightness and motion fluidity. Hisense is also developing the TV in 70, 120 and 150 inches. Among other new upgraded TV announcements, Hisense showcased how their smart televisions work with streaming services, Roku and digital assistants Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
#61548; iFLYTEK unveiled their pocket-sized recorder, which provides high accuracy transcriptions. In addition, they announced a partnership with RoboSense and demonstrated a voice-controlled, transforming robot.
#61548; TCL Corporation debuted its latest artificial intelligence (AI)-powered 8K TVs, including the flagship TCL X10 QLED 8K TV and an 8-Series flagship TV, its first QLED 8K TV for the US market. It also officially announced its founding membership in 8K Association and launched its new branded platform for AI solutions, TCL AI-IN. In addition, the company unveiled a range of headphones, including SOCL, MTRO, ACTV and ELIT.
