Haidilao Opens First European Flagship Restaurant In London

Chinese well-known hotpot brand Haidilao recently opened its first restaurant in London.

Apart from dining, the new restaurant also has retail function. With an area of 988 square meters, it has two floors – one above ground and one underground. The above ground area is 145 square meters and it is used as a retail zone, providing cooking utensils, tea set, food, apparel, and toys with Haidilao logo; while the underground area is 843 square meters, which can accommodate 280 seats.

So far, Haidilao already entered several overseas markets, including Singapore, US, South Korea, and UK. The company formally opened its first overseas restaurant in Singapore on December 13, 2012.

At present, Haidilao has over 400 restaurants in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. In addition, the company has 11 restaurants in Singapore, five in South Korea, four in Japan, three in US, one in Canada, one in Australia, and one in UK.
