Skechers, Youngor Team To Explore New Retail Model

American sports brand Skechers recently announced cooperation with China's Youngor and the two parties will explore new retail model of joint store.

According to the plan, the joint store will enhance the cost advantage of the offline channels of the two parties, which will lower their offline channel and operation expense significantly.

Youngor has never cooperated in joint store with other brands and this is a new attempt. For Skechers, the cooperation with Youngor will bring more category space, which can improve the family product sales idea advocated by the company. Meanwhile, Youngor's operating team will be able to learn the fast fashion style and the world-class brand operating model while running Skechers.

Chen Weili, Skechers' CEO for China, South Korea and Southeast Asia, said that Skechers will continue its offline expansion via super store in the future. In 2020, Skechers China plans to open 100 new super stores, with areas from 1,000 to 3,000 square meters.
