Chinese luxury e-commerce platform Secoo.com announced that Lanvin, a French high-end clothing brand, has formally entered its platform.
Lanvin will open a flagship store on Secoo and launch its spring and summer series 2020 designed by its creative director Bruno Sialelli.
Lanvin's entry into Secoo was planned and promoted by Lanvin brand and the e-commerce division of Fosun Fashion Group. It also marks an important step of the cooperation between Secoo and Fosun Fashion Group, laying a foundation for more extensive cooperation in the future.
Li Rixue, founder and CEO of Secoo, said that the entry of Lanvin would not only enhance the online interaction between Secoo members and Lanvin, but also would improve the friendly cooperation between Secoo and the brand.
According to public files, Lanvin was founded in 1889 and its product lines cover clothing, perfume, and accessories. It features simple and neat tailoring and unique design and color match, making it a representative of the French high fashion. In February 2018, Lanvin was acquired by Fosun.
