Italian Coffee Brand Lavazza Opened First Asian Flagship Store In Shanghai

Yum China and Italian coffee brand Lavazza announced to build a joint venture to jointly operate Lavazza coffee shop in China.

At present, Lavazza's first coffee flagship store outside Italy has been launched in Shanghai. With over 100 years of passion and innovation in coffee, Lavazza will create immersive Italian coffee experience for Chinese consumers.

Qu Cuirong, CEO of Yum China, said that they welcome Chinese consumers who seek high-quality coffee experience to visit Lavazza flagship store.

Lavazza's CEO Antonio Baravalle said that China has huge coffee consumption potential and it is a very important market. Yum China has been developing in the Chinese market for many years and it has a deep understanding of the Chinese market and consumers. Lavazza has been seeking an opportunity to enter the Chinese and Asian markets and the cooperation with Yum China is an important beginning.
