According to reports in Chinese local media, Michael Ward, managing director of British department store Harrods, recently attended Shanghai Fashion Week in October 2020, and discussed and shared his business experience and industry trends with Chinese fashion practitioners and the media.
At the same time, he brought the latest news about Harrods' first fixed assets investment in China.
It is said that Harrods has won a three-floor building next to the Modern Art Museum Shanghai. According to Harrods, this building is the first permanent service space opened by Harrods in mainland China, and is named "The Residence" exclusive member club, which will provide long-term private shopping guide services for Chinese customers. This will also be the first time for Harrods to extend its private shopping guide services to a city other than London.
Harrods was founded in 1834, and is one of the largest, most luxurious and world-famous department stores in the U.K.
