Yili To Invest CNY30 Billion To Support Upstream Dairy Industry In Next Five Years

Zhang Jianqiu, executive president of Yili Group, recently introduced the group's series actions to assist the dairy industry revitalization of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at a press conference held in Beijing.

Over the next five years, Yili will also invest CNY30 billion to support the upstream dairy industry.

In Inner Mongolia, Yili has established nine major industrial clusters, representing the company's modern wisdom and healthy grain. Yili's modern wisdom and healthy grain will be a world-class complex of high-quality dairy development, making it the "Silicon Valley" of the dairy industry to lead the global dairy development.

Since 2014, Yili has provided a total of CNY17.713 billion in financing support for the ranch, of which about CNY6.125 billion was issued between January and November 2020. By November 30, 2020, Yili has provided financial support of CNY65.266 billion for 7,039 upstream and downstream cooperation partners of the industry chain.

Over the next five years, the company will invest additional CNY30 billion to support the upstream dairy industry, provide financial support, technical service support, high-quality dairy cow support and forage planting support to strengthen the linkage of interests with upstream agriculture and animal husbandry, and promote the joint development of the entire industrial chain.
