Gome.com.cn, the e-commerce platform of the Chinese home appliances and electronics retailer Gome, announced that they will launch China's first 3D Internet home decoration e-commerce platform called "Gome Home".
According to Mu Guixian, chairman of Gome.com.cn, users who have home decoration demands can experience 3D virtual decoration by visiting the "Gome Home" website. They will be able to enjoy one-stop home decoration and purchase services once the service is launched in a few weeks.
"Gome Home" has an exclusive cooperation deal with C2gou.com to provide the 3D virtual home decoration experience, which allows users to visualize their future home. In addition, "Gome Home" invited top design teams from Dongyi Risheng, a listed home decoration company, to provide customized home decoration services to users, said Mu. "Gome Home" aims to provide one-stop packaged price and services and it will cost about 45 days at the quickest from model designs to move-in.
"Gome Home" will first be launched in ten cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Chongqing; and it will be expanded into 50 cities by the end of 2015.
