Beijing-based supermarket chain Chaoshifa has announced plans to open a flagship store with an area of nearly 10,000 square meters in Beijing's Fengtai District.

According to information from Chinese Internet auction website Taobao.com, the website is currently cooperating with local commerce departments around China to fight sales of fake and shoddy products, and users who are found selling fake products in their online shops on Taobao.com will have their accounts permanently disabled.

Having opened 65 stores in Beijing, the Chinese electronics retailer Dazhong, which was acquired by Gome, plans to close four unprofitable stores in Beijing during an internal restructuring.
