McDonald's China Extends Cooperation With NBA

McDonald's China has announced the extension of its cooperation agreement with the U.S. National Basketball Association.

Yao Ming, a superstar in the NBA and celebrity spokesperson for McDonald's, will play an important role in this collaboration by participating in special TV ads made by the NBA and promoting an active and balanced lifestyle to the public. These TV ads will be played during the live broadcast of NBA matches on CCTV-5 or other regional TV stations.

NBA will also make a new living program named "Made By NBA" which will be shown all around China. McDonald's will support a series of Internet live broadcasts on its Chiense website, as well.

Luo Ruizhi, vice president of McDonald's, says that they cherish the cooperation with world leading sports brands including the NBA and sports stars such as Yao Ming because they are a company that has been dedicated to promoting communication with consumers.

Besides the NBA, McDonald's is also the official partner of the World Cup and the Olympic Games.
