Century Mart To Open New Outlet In Ningbo

Century Mart has announced plans to open a 25,000 square meter hypermarket in Jiangdong District, Ningbo.

Century Mart's first hypermarket in Ningbo, the new store is expected to open at the end of April 2009. At present, many brands, including Youngor, Nike, Adidas, Olay, Watsons, Lao Fengxiang, and KFC, have taken space in the hypermarket.

With a investment of about CNY150 million, the new Ningbo Century Mart store will offer more than 30,000 products to local consumers in addition to various functional areas such as a rest area, a free water bar, and a free gift packing area.

A representative from Century Mart revealed that the company plans to add 100,000 square meters of retail area in Zhejiang in 2009, with new projects in Jinhua, Xiangshan, Linhai, and Hangzhou. In addition, its 20 existing outlets in the province will be renovated this year.
