A representative from Watsons Hong Kong said that in 2016 Watsons Hong Kong's online shopping performance saw a large increase, which means consumers gradually started trying diversified shopping methods. In the future, Watsons will continue to combine its online and offline resources to meet the different demands of customers.

Compared with offline physical stores, Watsons' online platform provides more products. Therefore, some Hong Kong consumers prefer to purchase online. In addition, the report said that one out of three online customers of Watsons Hong Kong chose to pick up products from physical stores, which also promoted the growth of physical stores.
