China's National Bureau of Statistics has published its major economic indices for November 2009 showing that the country's retail sales of the country rapidly during the month.

The National Bureau of Statistics of China has published major economic statistics for October 2009 and stated that China's retail sales increased by 16.2% year-on-year to CNY1.172 trillion.

According to figures released by China's National Bureau of Statistics, China's retail sales in the first half of 2009 reached about CNY5.871 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 15%.

According to statistics jointly published by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and the National Bureau of Statistics, Beijing's consumer market maintained a stable growth in May 2009 and realized retail sales of CNY43.63 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.7%.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, retail sales in China reached CNY2.94 trillion in the first quarter of 2009, a year-on-year increase of 15%.

Beijing-based retailer Jingkelong has published its annual report for 2008, which states that its total revenue increased by 18.7% year-on-year to CNY6.694 billion while its net profit increased by 25.8% year-on-year to CNY157 million.
