Watsons Opens Two Stores On Hainan Island

Asian health and beauty products retailer Watsons has opened two stores in Hainan province, marking the brand's overall entry into this market.

The two stores are located at Haikou Top-U and Haikou Friendship Commercial Plaza, respectively.

At the opening ceremony for the two stores, Watsons shared its personal care plans with women consumers and displayed its own brand products.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based Hutchison Whampoa, Watsons is one of the world's largest health and beauty products, perfume, and cosmetics retailers. It currently operates over 1,500 stores and 900 drugstores in ten countries, including China, Singapore, Malaysia, and South Korean and the company has more than 400 outlets on the Chinese mainland.
