New Huadu has signed an agreement to buy two stores in China from South Korean retailer E-Mart.

China Certification & Inspection Group has reportedly issued the Green Market Certification to Carrefour's six stores in Beijing, making the French supermarket one of the first retailers to gain the certification in the Beijing region.

Auchan has recently opened a 9,284-square-meter new store in Huayang, Chengdu, the first large supermarket in the area.

The world retail giant French Carrefour Group will enter the Guiyang retail market and its first store in Guiyang — Carrefour Wenchang — will open before the new year.

Chinese beauty group Natural Beauty has announced in Shanghai that it has opened 11 upgraded new concept stores and plans to expand its retail network to 100 new concept stores in China by the end of 2010.

Chinese department store retailer Wangfujing has announced in Beijing that it will launch a new sub-brand called Fashion Headquarters and its first store under this brand will be opened on September 16, 2010.
